Hugo Aristides is a spiritual companion, author, and transformational coach whose work lives at the intersection of contemplation and action. Rooted in the Catholic mystical tradition and shaped by the wisdom of Thomas Merton, Teresa of Ávila, and John of the Cross, Hugo walks alongside seekers who are ready to move from restlessness to clarity — from knowing about God to knowing God.
Born in Colombia and called to South Florida, Hugo draws from the landscapes that have formed him: the cloud forests of his homeland, the granite cathedrals of Yosemite, and the healing waters of Florida's coast. Nature is not a backdrop to his spirituality — it is one of its primary teachers.
The Journey
Hugo's path has taken him through seasons of professional success, entrepreneurial risk, personal loss, and contemplative discovery. He has worked in financial coaching, social entrepreneurship, and community development — always guided by the conviction that inner transformation and outer service are not separate vocations but one.
As a Miro speaker, he brings visual, participatory frameworks to communities seeking deeper self-knowledge. As a coach, he works pro bono with individuals whose projects carry a social dimension — helping them discern, plan, and act from a place of groundedness rather than reaction.
The Work

"This is not a marketplace. It is an invitation — to know yourself, to be known by God, and to serve the world from that place of union."— Hugo Aristides
